TWH Travel Series ROMs
We created our travel series of ROMs to both entertain ourselves and our mocap performers. We’ve long used a recorded ROM video shot in a studio to guide actors through the morning calibration and we decided this travel series would be a fun way to make the routine task more interesting. our travel series ROMs are all shot in real locations, no green screens or AI, just fun ROMs in the world. Check back for updates and new locations.

Technical Notes
This video is designed for an actor to follow during a motion Capture Range of Motion (ROM). The action is a combination of compound actions and joint axis isolation movements designed to give optimal joint estimation and subject calibration results, particularly for a Vicon Shogun system. The initial 4 poses (A, T, Elbow/Z and Knee) allow TWH Tools to further refine skeleton and pose. The basis of this ROM has been researched and refined over 25+ years to be easy to follow and give the best results.
